Maybe “we offer classes Mon-Thu evening and Saturday and Sunday mornings” at least that gives the person some tangible information. We accept all major credit and debit cards. we don’t accept cash or checks.
We offer a variety of swim programs for all ages and skill levels, from beginner parent-tot classes and preschool aquatics to advanced stroke refinement, including adult swim lessons.
We maintain small class sizes to ensure personalized attention for each student. Our student-to-instructor ratio varies depending on the class level, but we strive to keep it low. Our Youth classes have a 4:1 student-to-instructor ratio. This means a lot of attention and practice in every class.
Our Youth swim lessons typically run for 29 minutes, varying depending on the program and age group.
We offer one makeup token every 90 days if you need to miss a class. We need to be contacted before the class starts to issue the token. We will help you find a day and time to fit your schedule for the makeup class.
Children should wear a swimsuit. Swim caps are recommended, especially for those with longer hair. Goggles can also be helpful. For infants and toddlers in parent-tot classes, a swim diaper is required.
Yes, we encourage parents to observe their child’s progress.
Our pools are heated to a comfortable temperature for swimming lessons, in Orange our pools are typically between 88-90 degrees Fahrenheit. In New Haven our pool is kept at 81-82 degrees. The specific temperature may vary slightly.
Yes, we offer family changing stations at our Orange, CT location, and our New Haven, CT location has locker rooms for swimmers.
Yes, both New Haven and Orange locations have designated viewing areas where parents can comfortably observe their children’s lessons.

The safety of our swimmers is our top priority. We have certified lifeguards on duty during all lessons and programs. Our staff is certified in CPR and First Aid. We also maintain a clean and hygienic environment in our pools and facilities.
